New Corning Advanced Flow Reactors equipment at NormandyFlowChem

The NormandyFlowChem platform of CARMeN Institute is thrilled to announce that two new Corning Advanced Flow Reactors systems are now added to our equipment range. These will reinforce our capacity to develop scalable processes.

Indeed, from now on, we have a 4-fluidic modules Low-Flow reactor with the same geometry than fluidic modules from our G1 reactor (kilolab/pilot scale), but with smaller dimensions, more suited for lab scale. This will allow easier scale-up, as both equipment have been designed as homothetic by Corning.

Moreover, we also now are equipped of a new "metal-free" dosing line for our G1 system. It is now possible to work with very corrosive and/or acidic reagents and therefore to extend the range of chemical processes that we can scale-up.

We thank the Normandy administrative region (convention n°00157446) and the French State (Decision n°172-2024-16) for the financial support in the acquisition of the two equipments in the context of EX2N-Spectro / SAF-APE project.
